This wine comes from a thoughtful combination of vineyard sources. Grapes from younger vines are picked early to preserve crisp acidity and lift. Grapes from older vineyards, with their deep root systems and lower yields, are harvested later, bringing weight, aromatic richness and complexity. The result is a Garnacha Blanca that offers both freshness and depth.

The vineyards enjoy long sunny days and cool nights, a contrast that enhances aroma and structure. In addition, the Cierzo and Garbí winds help maintain healthy grapes with balanced ripeness. PRODUCTION METHOD
Vila-Closa Garnacha Blanca is made from grapes sourced from both younger and older vineyards in Terra Alta. The younger vines are harvested early to capture bright acidity, while the older vines are picked later to bring body and depth. After a careful selection, the grapes are gently pressed to preserve the purity of the juice. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures, followed by aging on fine lees for 3 to 4 months. This lees contact adds texture and complexity without masking the varietal character of Garnacha Blanca. Minimal intervention ensures the wine reflects both grape and terroir with clarity.

Aged on fine lees in stainless steel tanks for 3 to 4 months, adding creamy texture and complexity while maintaining freshness.
TASTING NOTE
Bright pale yellow with subtle greenish reflections. The nose shows white flowers, ripe pear and peach, with hints of fennel and citrus zest. On the palate, it is full yet fresh, combining ripe stone fruit with a touch of salinity. The finish is long and balanced, leaving a clean, lively impression.
