Over time, it reached beyond the local square and, as a result of growing demand, became available to anyone who values authenticity in every sip.

Crafted with Local Grapes and a Secret Blend

Produced by Celler La Botera, this artisanal vermouth begins with a base wine of Garnacha Blanca and Macabeo. These varieties capture the territory’s essence with honesty and freshness. Onto this base, the winemaker infuses a secret blend of herbs and spices, following a maceration process handed down through generations. Consequently, the vermouth develops aromatic complexity, Mediterranean brightness, and a harmonious balance of sweetness, bitterness, and acidity.

The Story Behind the Name

Batead’Or carries three intertwined meanings. The first is Batea, the village where this liquid tradition was born and is now enjoyed worldwide. Next comes Or, meaning “gold” in Catalan, a symbol of the value, heritage, and pride found in every bottle. The final layer is Bateador, the Spanish word for “batter,” reflecting the vermouth’s bold spirit. It is served with strength, personality, and a flavour that leaves a lasting impression. Moreover, the label design reinforces this idea, showing a figure holding the bottle like a bat, ready to break expectations and awaken palates.
