3 Pueblos Verdejo
3 Pueblos Verdejo embodies the essence of Rueda, Spain’s most emblematic region for this grape. The vineyards, over two decades old, thrive at more than 800 meters above sea level, where hot summer days contrast with cool nights. This thermal variation preserves acidity while promoting aromatic complexity. The sandy and calcareous soils provide the perfect balance between freshness and structure, giving the Verdejo grape its distinctive personality.
The name “3 Pueblos” pays homage to the origins of the project, which unites growers from three different villages under the same philosophy: to honor native varieties through organic viticulture and careful winemaking. It represents the strength of community and the idea that quality is built collectively, in harmony with the land.
In the cellar, the process is gentle and precise. Grapes are harvested at their peak, then cooled before fermentation to preserve maximum aromatic potential. Fermenting at a controlled 13°C maintains the vivid expression of fruit and herbs. After fermentation, the wine rests on its fine lees, which naturally enrich texture and length. The result is a wine that respects tradition but also speaks with clarity and modernity.
Rueda Verdejo is known for its lively freshness and its subtle bitter touch, and this cuvée captures both with precision. It is not only an aperitif wine but also versatile with food, from fresh seafood and shellfish to long meals where its vibrancy awakens the palate. 3 Pueblos Verdejo is more than a white wine, it is the voice of a region, the collective work of its people, and a clear expression of one of Spain’s most iconic varieties.
