Més Que Paraules Negre captures the soul of Pla de Bages. This wine region, in the heart of Catalonia, is regaining recognition for authentic, character-driven wines. The name means “More Than Words” and reflects a desire to create wines that speak for themselves and for the land they come from. It is rooted in heritage, where native grapes meet international varieties in a harmonious blend.

The landscape is shaped by rolling hills, Mediterranean vegetation and small vineyard parcels. At around 400 metres altitude, the vines enjoy warm days and cool nights. This climate allows slow, balanced ripening and preserves freshness. Clay-limestone soils with scattered pebbles store heat during the day and release it at night, adding subtle mineral notes to the wine’s personality.

Sustainability is a core value. The vineyards are cultivated under the Integrated Production certification, which protects biodiversity and respects natural resources. The winery also works to recover ancestral grapes such as Mandó. This variety offers elegance, slow ripening and vibrant acidity, even in warm, dry years. It brings balance and freshness. Cabernet Sauvignon adds structure and depth, while Merlot gives smoothness. Sumoll completes the blend with its rustic character.
