3 Pueblos Albariño

3 Pueblos Albariño is a pure expression of Rías Baixas and the Atlantic essence of Galicia. It is born in Cambados, recognized as the cradle of Albariño, where vines over 40 years old sink their roots into sandy and granitic soils. These soils, together with the mild maritime climate, shape grapes with remarkable acidity, minerality and finesse.

The Val do Salnés subzone is considered the birthplace of Albariño. Here, sea breezes, frequent rainfall and gentle sunshine create ideal conditions for slow ripening, preserving freshness and developing the grape’s hallmark saline touch. The old vines deliver concentrated fruit, bringing both aromatic intensity and a deep sense of terroir.

Harvest is carried out by hand into small boxes to protect the fruit. Fermentation is split: the majority in stainless steel to capture Albariño’s floral and citrus brightness, and a small portion in French oak barrels to add depth and subtle roundness. After fermentation, the wine rests on its fine lees for six months, a practice that naturally enhances body, texture and complexity.

The result is a wine that balances precision with richness, expressing both the purity of Albariño and the strength of its Atlantic environment. Fresh, mineral and layered, 3 Pueblos Albariño reflects the collective philosophy of its name: three villages working together to craft authentic wines rooted in tradition and place. Ideal with Galician seafood, it is also a versatile companion for international cuisines, embodying the timeless charm of Galicia’s vineyards.

PRODUCTION METHOD
3 Pueblos Albariño is made from vines over 40 years old in Cambados, the heart of the Val do Salnés subzone of Rías Baixas. The vineyards grow on sandy, loamy and granitic soils that give the grape its freshness and saline edge. Grapes are harvested by hand in small 15 kg boxes to ensure maximum quality, then carefully destemmed, pressed and clarified before fermentation. A part ferments in stainless steel tanks to preserve fruit purity, while another part ferments in 500-liter French oak barrels to add subtle layers of complexity.
AGING
The wine rests for six months on its fine lees, with 80% in stainless steel and 20% in French oak barrels, gaining volume, texture and a refined balance between freshness and roundness.
TASTING NOTE
Crystal-clear lemon yellow with green reflections. Aromas of jasmine and violets blend with fennel, mango and apricot, lifted by a distinctive saline freshness. On the palate, it is bold and vibrant, combining ripe fruit flavors with refreshing acidity. The finish is long, elegant and marked by its Atlantic character.
