Bruna Dolçor Blanc
Bruna Dolçor Blanc is the sweet white jewel of Celler La Botera, crafted exclusively from late-harvest Garnacha Blanca. It is part of the Bruna range, dedicated to wines with natural sweetness, depth and refinement. The name evokes the warmth of Terra Alta’s sun and the richness of its autumn harvests.
The grapes are picked between late October and early November, when they have reached peak ripeness. At this stage, the berries are concentrated, with high sugar levels and a rich aromatic profile. Hand-harvesting ensures only the best clusters are chosen. In addition, gentle pressing preserves the delicate floral and fruity notes of the Garnacha Blanca.
Fermentation is carried out slowly at low temperatures. It is stopped by chilling the must, a technique that retains part of the grape’s natural sugars. This results in a sweet wine that keeps the variety’s lively acidity and freshness. The young wine is then aged for 8 to 10 months in oak barrels. During this time, it gains texture, roundness, and subtle complexity, with oak contributing gentle hints of spice and vanilla.
In the glass, Bruna Dolçor Blanc offers golden tones and enticing aromas of ripe peach, apricot, honey and candied lemon. The palate is lush yet balanced, with a smooth mouthfeel and a long, elegant finish. It is a wine that pairs beautifully with fruit-based desserts, creamy cheeses or simply enjoyed on its own as a refined treat. Therefore, Bruna Dolçor Blanc stands as a celebration of late harvest craftsmanship in Terra Alta.
